At the end of the activity, the students will be able to
Knowledge: list and categorize the food items as healthy and unhealthy available in our country and the countries chosen for study.
Skills: differentiate between healthy and unhealthy food and classify the fruits on the basis of their availability in the countries chosen for study.
Attitude:appreciate the role and importance of fruits, vegetables, dairy products in maintaining good health of an individual across the world.

Description:
Students will collect pictures on the different varieties of food that people eat in the countries chosen for study. They will be introduced to to the concept of healthy and unhealthy food. Thereafter, they will segregate the given pictures of different food items into healthy food and junk food by making a collage. Children will also do non-fire cooking in their respective classrooms using healthy food items like -Kiwi, Beetroot, Strawberry, Chinese cabbage etc.Children will participate in fancy dress activity depicting fruits and vegetables of the countries chosen for study with regard to our own country. The teacher will further sensitize the children about the advantages of healthy food through an action song encouraging them to stay away from junk food.
